The experiment pt 2

I’ve had a chance to brew the second beer in this project and so now is a good time to post the recipes. The Belgian ale:

Steeping Grains
10.5 oz C-20
12 oz red wheat
9 oz Munich

Malts
7 lb LME

Hops
2 oz Santitam pellets @ 60
.5 oz Golding @ 60
.5 oz Ahtanum @ 15
1/4 cup camomille tea

Yeast
Third and final use Wyeast 3499

OG
1.06

And the Irish Ale:

Steeping Grains
10.5 oz C-20
12 oz red wheat
9 oz Munich

Malts
7 lb LME

Hops
.5 oz Golding @ 60
.5 oz Ahtanum @ 15

Yeast
White Labs P-002

OG
1.06

So the recipes are nearly identical-some hop pellets I wasn’t able to add, the tea which didn’t belong in the second batch and the yeasts are different. The beers have both been progressing nicely so it should be interesting to see how they compare.
